You can claim money from Shropshire Waste Partnership if you collect materials which can be recycled rather than being sent to landfill.

Payments can be made to a wide range of not-for-profit groups such as guides/scouts, charities, schools, churches or voluntary groups.

What materials can you collect?

• You can collect any number of different items to claim recycling credits, as long as it is material which would have otherwise gone to a landfill.
• Make sure you choose to collect materials which can be recycled, to make it worthwhile collecting them.Examples of material you could collect are: cans, paper or textiles.
• Please remember to collect materials which are safe. It may be dangerous to collect glass because of the risk of breakages and injury.
• You will be paid based on the weight recycled, so you need to have somewhere to store items prior to taking them to the recycling company to be weighed.
