Please follow the Section 58 link on this page to find out which Streets in Shropshire are designated under section 58 of the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991. A section 58 allows a Highway Authority to designate a street to be free from planned utility works following major highway works for a period up to 5 years, depending on the nature of the highway works. Road closures for christmas events

The following events require a road closure:

17 December, Carols in the Square in Shrewsbury. Wyle Cop (uphill only) High Street, Mardol Head, Shoplatch and The Square will be closed between 5pm and 7.30pm. Traffic is diverted via the Town Walls route.
