Community Library profiles

Community Library Profiles prepared by Shropshire County Library Service will identify the local need for library services and will inform planning, target setting and performance measurement. They form part of national Public Library Impact Measures and include information in the following areas:

• Population
• Age profile
• Ethnic groups
• Religion
• Health and care
• Economic status
• Households
• Car ownership
• Travel to work
• Deprivation indicators
• Demographic data
• Library statistics

Separate profiles have been produced for each library. You can download or read them online by opening the attachments that appear on the web pages devoted to each library.
