Disability services

If you live in Shropshire and have a physical disability there are a range of services that we can offer or arrange for you.
There will be a disability team where you live . A member of staff will assess your needs and advise you of services that are available to you.
Alternatively we can put you in direct contact with services provided by other organisations such as:
- A4U (formerly known as Dial Shropshire) - who provide free confidential and impartial information, advice and advocacy on all aspects of disability (based at Louise House, Shrewsbury)
- Grange Centre
- Independent Living Partnership
- PCAS – Peer Counselling and Advocacy Service
- Penderels Trust - who provide a variety of services which include Direct Payments and Independent Living Support
- VISS – Visual Language Interpreting Services in Shropshire (based at the Lantern, Shrewsbury)
- VTTS - Vision Technology and Training Shropshire - provide individually designed computer training courses for adults of all ages (no age limit!) with sensory and physical difficulties
